2008 Rates and Fee Schedule
Here are the rates we charge to keep our club in the air. If you need
an estimate of what you're going to spend, most members spend around $1000
- $2000 a year if you'll be flying most weekends.
The cost of a glider flight will be the cost of the tow plus the glider
rental. A standard tow is usually 2000', for $24. A typical training flight
is around 15 minutes duration. In an L-23, this would bring your total
cost to around $40 per flight.

Fee Discounts
- Subject to CFI pre-approval, the maximum charge for glider rental will be 3 hours for any single flight.
- A one time credit of $100 will be awarded any 3 pack purchaser who becomes a member, within 4 weeks.
Significantly reduced rates are available for youth groups - Scouts, Guides, Cadets, etc. Contact us for details.

Introductory packages are handy if you think you might like to join, but are not sure. A portion of the package price may be redeemed towards membership.
These packages also make excellent gifts.
*Note: The Alberta Soaring Council has a rebate program that will reduce the cost for members under 21 by about $5 a flight.
